We are excited for the first
annual National Honor Ensembles event as part of
Music Education Week in Washington, DC! This historic occasion will occur
June 24-28, 2010.
Outstanding student musicians will be selected though a rigorous audition
screening process. This will result in an event that will feature a true, national
honor concert band, concert choir, orchestra and jazz band.
These auditions are now open through February 1, 2010. 10th and 11th grade students of current members of MENC are eligible to audition. We encourage students from every state in the country to audition for this performance opportunity unlike any other. Good luck to all those who audition and we hope to see you in DC!
